Card for CardzTV challenge

Hi everyone I'm entering this card into the Cardz Tv Christmas Challenge #2. I have never used "masking" as a technique before so I tried this with the moon on the card and it looks lovely. I also masked off the snow on the bottom. I used Distress Inks to color my sky and I stamped my trees in brown and my snowflakes in white. I stamped my snowman on white card, cut him out and colored him in. I love how this turned out, thanks for looking.

Greg's Christmas Card

Hello I made this card for Greg last night for Christmas. I was going to leave it till we are in the house but then I did not want to not be able to make one for Greg so it's made now and I can not worry about not having one made. This was a SVG file I bought for a new type of card I have never made before it was a window slider card so when you pull the tag, it slides up to reveal the message. I thought it was going to be complicated but it wasn't. I love the jolly Santa. I added some gems on the holly and some glitter gel pen. The card is a normal card and opens up on the side so I can write a message in there too. Thanks for looking.

Christmas Door Card

Hello I made this card recently it's for my Aunty Julie and Uncle Rick in England. In England they have their mailboxes in their front door so this was perfect for them. I started with a green card and then used a kraft cardstock and ran it through a lined embossing folder, I chose that one because it looks a bit like a house material used behind the door. I cut a red door on my Cricut and a wreath. My lovely Greg came up with a good idea instead of cutting a slot in the door, just use a black marker to give the illusion of a slot. I cut a rectangle out for the envelope and used my Cricut to write my greeting. The wreath is cut from Cricut and I added some gems on the wreath and an enamel dot for the door handle. I like this one : ) thanks for looking.

A couple more Christmas cards

Hello I've got a couple more Christmas cards to show you that I've had on the go for about a week. I've been busy with studying and doing stuff at the back of the house with Greg so I'm trying to get all my cards done bit by bit. These two turned out nice.
The first one I used one of the Anna Griffin Christmas cards from the Cricut, it has a nice holly edge. I added a rectangle down the left hand side and used my Cricut to write the greeting. I also used an Anna Griffin outline image which is a bit like a stamp but it draws on the Cricut. I colored this in with pencils. I hole punched some circles out of a scrap of the red glitter paper for the berries on the holly. I added a sticky washi tape along the join.
For the second one I embossed a panel using my holly embossing folder then added 2 more strips, on one I stamped my greeting. I cut a tree in foil green on my Cricut. This all went onto a gold card. Thanks for looking.

another Christmas card

Hello I've got another Christmas card to share today. I really like how this one turned out with the diamond shapes. I cut squares on the Cricut and then embossed two of them with my Holly embossing folder and one of the layers I used some Ho Ho Ho patterned paper. I cut the Santa on my Cricut and used my Cricut to write the sentiment. I went around the white parts of the Santa with glitter gel pen. Thanks for looking.

2 more Christmas cards

Hello I've got two more cards I've been working on, they've been a WIP (Work in progress) sitting on my desk for a few days but I finished them tonight after I did some studying. The first one is very cute, I just randomly stamped my Santa on white and then a trend now is to just color in one so I did that and he stands out nicely. I added some gold stamped stars too and some little gifts and matted the white onto a patterned piece. I stamped a greeting as well. The second one is a very simple one, some of them are simpler than others but nice all the same. I covered a card in patterned paper and then added the tree die cut and stamped my greeting in green on the bottom. Thanks for looking.

Candle Christmas card

Hello I am making some of (or probably most) of my Christmas cards before we move into the cottage then the house especially the overseas ones in case I don't get chance to. So I have been wanting to make a Christmas candle one so I used a top fold craft cardstock card and then added a green layer. I used the Versamark ink to stamp a greeting which gives it a watermark look. Then I had a red circle scrap left over from another card and I added my candle and some faux white stitching with a gel pen. Thanks for looking.
